From this blend there is a reference to the past, memories of the tamed world. This presents the red “Ricordo” true and authentic in the winemaking tradition almost disappeared. Gigliola and Dario both have family history linked to this world. This Prugnolo Gentile is vinified in stainless steel vats together with the Trebbiano and Malvasia white grapes. It expresses the typical Sangiovese made in an old fashioned way with a leathery flavour that turns into Morello cherry. The flavour is sincere and medium bodied with important tannins that give the wine what it needs.
